Install Widgets on this WordPress Blog

Widgets are small applications that you install in the columns and footer of your Blog to give it various functionalities. You need a self-hosted blog to add Widgets to your Blog. You can add as many as you like by installing Plugins. But be careful, it can become addictive and there’s no cure.

Every WordPress installation offers basic Widgets such as: Recent Posts, Recent Comments, Categories, Pages, Keywords, Pages, Blogroll. Hundreds of other Widgets can be installed with WordPress Plugins, such as Flickr, Twitter, Delicious, RSS. If you see something that you like on a blog, there’s a change that it is a Widget that was installed with a Plugin.
